6 Ways to Protect Your Pets from EMF Radiation
Pets are our faithful companions. They’re always there for us through thick and thin. Their unconditional love for us is priceless. The work and care they require often pales in comparison to what we receive from our relationship with them.
One way we can honor them and repay their loyalty is to address their health and well-being in the same manner that we should attend to our own. Our fur babies definitely deserve that kind of treatment.
Perhaps you’ve done some some research on the impact of EMFs (Electromagnetic Fields) on humans. Maybe you’ve even implemented some changes to protect yourself and your family. What about your pets? How are you protecting them from potentially harmful environmental radiation levels?
What are EMFs?
EMFs (electromagnetic fields) are invisible magnetic pulses (radiation) that are emitted all around us daily. We are most commonly surrounded by RF EMR (Radio-frequency Electromagnetic Radiation), which is transmitted by our beloved electronic devices such as Smartphones, tablets, laptops, GPS systems, smart meters, Smart Appliances (e.g. TV’s, ovens, refrigerators, and cars.), and WiFi routers.[1]
Long-term exposure to RF EMR, in humans, has been linked to many different health issues including: migraines/headaches, muscle pains, fatigue, sleep disturbances, and an increase in cancer risk.
Unfortunately, electromagnetic fields can negatively affect our pets as well. Electromagnetic exposure can cause digestive, behavior, sleep, and fertility problems in our pets.[2] It can also affect their immune systems, joints, muscles and cause cause connective tissue degeneration. Our furry friends are integral parts of our family. As such, they should be cared for just as we care for ourselves.
Signs Your Pet Might Be Affected by EMFs
If your pets are in your home and you’re affected, they probably are too. In fact, animals are even more sensitive to energy and frequencies than humans. It’s part of their survival instinct.
Sadly, our pets can’t verbally communicate that they are having headaches, and they certainly won’t tell you that they’re feeling more anxious than usual. However, you might notice uncharacteristic and odd behaviors or increased fatigue. Maybe, despite the great care you take with their diet and exercise routines, they’re suddenly being diagnosed with ailments or diseases like diabetes and cancer.
While it might be a legitimate diagnosis and a sign of natural aging, it could be a sign of accelerated aging or related dis-ease. If that’s the case, and even if it’s not, addressing the level of electrosmog in your home might have a profound impact on your pet’s well-being.
So, here are 6 simple things you can do to protect your pets.
1. TURN OFF YOUR Wi-Fi AT NIGHT.
Turning off your WiFi router every night before going to bed will minimize the amount of radiation being transmitted during what should be a time of sleep and restoration. This will ensure that both you and your pets aren’t bombarded with radiation during the time when both of our bodies rest, heal and rejuvenate.
2. KEEP YOUR PET’S BED AWAY FROM ELECTRONICS.
Keep your pet’s play area and bed at least 6 feet away from electronics. They are just as vulnerable as we are to EMFs, especially as they sleep.
3. DISCOURAGE YOUR PETS FROM HANGING AROUND OR PLAYING NEAR YOUR ELECTRONICS AND SMART APPLIANCES.
Remember, whether on or off, your electronics are still giving off EMFs. And, of course, your Smart Appliances are pulsing as well. Turn off those not in use when you can to reduce emissions. Dogs might be easier to discourage , since they tend to have more of a natural aversion to funky frequencies. Cats, on the other hand, seem to enjoy parading across our computer keyboards and climbing atop our refrigerators. Do what you can to encourage other safe play spaces.
4. PLACE ELECTRONICS NEAR OUTSIDE WALLS.
If possible, place WiFi routers, SMART appliances, and Bluetooth devices near a wall that leads outside. This way when the radiation is emitted, some of it can go outside thereby minimizing what accumulates in your home. Small changes can make a big difference.
5. TURN OFF ALL ELECTRONICS AT NIGHT.
This is a little tricky. Many of us use our cell phones for an alarm. If you can, get an old-fashioned bedside non-digital alarm clock. If not, you can still turn off your computers, tablets, Bluetooth devices and other electronics that aren’t in use overnight. Don’t forget to turn off your TV and electronic Personal Assistants {Alexa, Google Home, etc.) as well.
6. INVEST IN A PERSONAL PROTECTIVE DEVICE FOR YOUR PET.
An increase in EMF awareness has led to a number of options for concerned pet owners. Generally, they are items that can be attached to your pet’s collar. This simple, convenient solution allows your pet to be protected from the hazards of EMF radiation. There are crystals, stones, magnets and other things that other solutions that are reportedly beneficial. As always, do your research to ensure that what you are buying will truly be effective.
Our top pick incorporates a neodymium magnet embedded into a colorful selection of charms. They work for cats and dogs and incorporate healing energy elements (Infrared, Germanium, Negative Ions) that increase serotonin and blood flow, promote healing and boost mood.

In short, some simple ways to reduce the indoor radiation in your environment for your and your pet’s sake are to limit the number of electronic and SMART devices that you have on during the day, and turn them all off at night. Place electronics and wireless devices near windows to minimize exposure. Discourage animal sleep or play near electronics and wireless devices. And, consider providing your beloved pet with a personal EMF protective device.
